18-Year Account of Jesus’ Adolescence and Adulthood

Nazareth

I am not one hundred per cent sure, but I will venture to say that all the prophets recorded in the Bible except for John and Jesus have some little or not so little background given of the occasion of their calling by God to their mission (e.g. Moses and Samuel).

Jesus and John, as far as the Gospels show, came born with their calling.  No where in the accounts can I point to at spot in their life prior to which they had no call; after which they were God directed and aware of their mission.

Luke

Luk 2:51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

Luk 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
