Commentaries on Gospel Events
Accused of a Connection with Beelzebub
A. D. 29
Judea (?)
Maybe the verses:
Luk 11:27
And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.Luk 11:28
But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.should be moved back to AD 28. Luke seems to have some problem with chronology here.
Whenever these verses were said, it seems to directly say Mary received no special treatment for bearing him as a child. She needs to get saved the same way as everybody else.
The flow of events in Luke 11:14-54 seems reasonable, as though it was a mistake to move any of it back a year.
