Last Journey, Heals Ten Lepers
Begins Last journey to Jerusalem via Samaria & Galilee
A. D. 30
Samaria, Galilee
This incident is, in my opinion, very significant in understanding the parable of the "Good Samaritan".
I wonder if it is part of God's plan (it must be) to make the continuity of the life story of Jesus open and plain to any one who looks. The parable and the miracle of healing would seem to be very far apart and unrelated. But that is only superficial. In time they are very close together.
Just so are the two happenings involving a person named Lazarus. In fact they are not even in the same Gospel. If God had wanted the relationship to be made clear, He would have come right out and said so; but he didn't. Why??
Luke
Luk 17:11
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
