of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramothgilead, he
and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.
2Ki 9:24 And Jehu drew a bow with his full
strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at
his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.
C. Death of Ahaziah
9:27-29
2Ki 9:27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw
this,
he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and
said, Smite him also in the chariot.
And they did so
at the going up to Gur, which
is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died
there.

day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of
Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant
David's sake.

eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they

their land.

people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of

thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the

Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift
up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;

continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day,
